Joss Whedon’s Quick Silver Gives X-Men Days of Futures Past a Run for its Money

Bryan Singer’s X-Men: First Class sequel, X-Men: Days of Future Past was looking pretty good when the promotional ball started rolling. From the intricate use of social media with imitation websites centered in the X-Men Universe to the amazing after-credits seen in The WolverineBut then came the costumes on the cover of Empire magazine and all hell inside the world’s X-Men’s fan-base broke loose, all because of the costume for the silver speedster, Quicksilver.

Now if you’ve been following the latest film, you’re probably aware that two “X-Men” will also be appearing on the big screen but they won’t be with their fellow counterparts over at 20th Century Fox, they’ll be hanging with Joss Whedon and his Avengers at Marvel Studios. Recently we got our first look at Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch, the two mutant’s who’ll have no X-Men relations (a precaution set to avoid legal problems since Fox holds the film rights to X-Men and all of its character’s) that will be appearing in the upcoming Avengers sequel, Avengers: Age of Ultron. Check out the early designs for the two characters in Whedon’s Avengers sequel below.
