Norman Reedus to Star in New Sci-Fi Film Produced By Robert Kirkman

Well, Robert Kirkman has finally taken that last big step on to the big screen.

After climbing his way to the top of comic book mountain through innovative titles like Invincible and the ridiculously popular The Walking Dead series. His works eventually branched into video games and other mediums but now it looks like Kirkman will be taking the next step onto the big screen.

According to The Hollywood Reporter. A film starring Norman Reedus, a.k.a Daryl Dixon, a fan favorite from The Walking Dead, will be produced by Kirkman. The film reportedly has Djimon Hounsou, set to appear in Marvel’s Guardians of The Galaxy, attached as well.

Here’s what we know so far about the sci-fi, dystopian film, set to be produced by Kirkman’s production company Skybound Entertainment thanks to THR:

The story is set in an underground cryogenic facility after a nuclear fallout renders the atmosphere unbreathable. Air centers on its two custodial workers (Reedus, Hounsou), who take care of the cryogenically sleeping personnel that are to re-establish society, but they struggle to preserve their own sanity and lives while maintaining the extremely fragile environment of the last livable place on earth.

Hopefully this doesn’t mean bad news for Reedus’ on The Walking Dead.
